NEW BREMEN, Ohio — Natalie Brunswick had a pair of individual victories on Tuesday, but the Fort Recovery Middle School girls track team came up short against the New Bremen Cardinals, 88-31.
The FRMS boys also lost, 98-20.
Brunswick crossed the finish line first in the 400-meter dash, and teammate Abby Knapke was the runner-up. Brunswick also won the 800 run and the 1,600 run for the Indians.
Fort Recovery’s 4x200 relay team of Sophie Pearson, Mara Pearson, Audra Bubp and Allysen Fullenkamp was also victorious.
Ross Pearson and Paul Homan were first in the 200 dash and 200 hurdle events respectively for Fort Recovery’s boys. Bo Thien beat the competition in the shot put.
