Cornerstone holding workshops

Cornerstone Center for the Arts will host a series of workshops in April.

The monthly dance club, which includes an hour of dance instruction in swing, ballroom and salsa led by David Fennig of Jay County followed by a few hours of open dancing, will be held from 7 to 10:30 p.m. April 6. The fee is $12 for adults and $7 for students.

Dance instructor Katie Cannon will also host a Pop Up Dance workshop at 7 p.m. April 12. The fee is $10.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue concert scheduled for June 28.

The concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 28 at the Sweetwater Performance Pavilion in Fort Wayne. Tickets will be available at eventbrite.com or on the Sweetwater campus at 5501 U.S. 30 West, Fort Wayne.



Conference set

LifeStream Services will hold its annual Aging Well Conference from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 6 at Horizon Convention Center in Muncie.

The conference will feature Loretta Swit as its keynote speaker. The event will also include a resource fair and breakout sessions.
