Hagin St., Portland, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for 60 days with all but six days suspended and given six days credit for three days served. Assessed court costs of $185.50, placed on formal probation for six months and ordered to pay an alcohol and drug countermeasures fee of $200 and a substance abuse program fee of $400.
Ryan M. Langenkamp, 18, 5955 E. 700 South, Portland, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for 180 days with all but two days suspended and given two days credit for one day served. Fined $1, assessed court costs of $185, placed on formal probation for one year and ordered to pay a drug abuse, prosecution, interdiction and correction fee of $200 and a substance abuse program fee of $400.
Decorion M. Eskridge, 20, 605 Cedar Road, Bluffton, was found in violation of his probation on the original charge of possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor — Ordered to serve an additional 30 days of the sentence imposed on Nov. 7 and given 12 days credit for six days served.
Raymundo Martinez-Ruiz, 24, 1237 U.S. 27, Lot 70, Portland, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent of 0.15 percent or more, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to Jay County Jail for one year with all but two days suspended and given two days credit for one day served. Assessed court costs of $185.50, placed on formal probation for one year and ordered to pay an alcohol and drug countermeasures fee of $200. A charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor, was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
Brandon L. Smith, 25, 418 W. Main St., Apartment 3, Portland, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor — Sentenced to 60 days in Jay County Jail with all but 20 days suspended and given six days credit for three days served. Remaining time will be served on weekends. Assessed court costs of $185.50, placed on formal probation for six months and ordered to pay an alcohol and drug countermeasures fee of $200 and a substance abuse program fee of $400.
Nathan E. Pleasant, 25, last known address in Portland, was found in violation of his probation on the original charge of theft, a Class A misdemeanor — Ordered to serve an additional 200 days of the sentence imposed on Nov. 1 and given credit for time served since Jan. 21. His probation was terminated unsuccessfully. An additional petition alleging probation violation was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
In a separate case, charges of false informing, a Class B misdemeanor, and operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and possession of paraphernalia, Class C misdemeanors, were dismissed.
