It’s time again to apply for grants.
The Portland Foundation is now accepting applications for its summer grants.
Applications that are open include standard grants as well as Teacher Creativity Mini Grants. The foundation is also accepting applications for scholarships for current college students.
The deadline for all grant applications is 5 p.m. June 1.

Inducted
Fort Recovery High School graduate Trisha Thien was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
Thien is an education major at Ball State University. The honor society is open to the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors.
Visit Ivy
Go Ivy events will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Maring-Hunt Library, 2005 S. High St., Muncie, and 1 to 4 p.m. May 22 at Kennedy Library, 1700 W. McGalliard Road, Muncie.

The League of the Blind and Disabled will hold a Visual Impairment Support Group at Swiss Village in Berne.
Group meetings will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday and on June 13 and July 11. For more information, call Swiss Village at (260)?589-3173.
Offering program
Swiss Village will offer its Summer Junior Volunteer Program this year.
The program places students ages 10 and older in volunteer positions at Swiss Village, Kinder Haus or Muselman Wellness Pavilion. It runs May 28 through Aug. 9.
