Gardening tips will be available this weekend.
The Jay County Purdue Master Garden Fair is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the 4-H Building at Jay County Fairgrounds.
The free event will include presentations about gardening topics including pollinator plants, composting and lawn care. There will also be activities for children.

Meeting set
South Adams Trails will hold its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. May 16 at Limberlost State Historic Site, 200 E. 6th St., Geneva.
Brian Wright, bridge project manager for engineering firm Butler, Fairman and Seufert, will be the keynote speaker. He will be presenting design plans and discussing his role in South Adams Trails projects.
Banquet set
The deadline to register to attend the Portland High School Alumni Banquet is June 1.
The banquet is scheduled for 6 p.m. June 15 at Jay County High School, with social hour beginning at 5 p.m. Honored classes will be 1934, 1939, 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969 and 1974.
The cost is $15 and can be sent to Medler’s Furniture, 524 N. Meridian St., Portland.

A Go Ivy event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. May 22 at Kennedy Library, 1700 W. McGalliard Road, Muncie.
