Gathering is scheduled
A chance to learn about Native American culture is scheduled for June.
The National Center for Great Lakes Native American Culture will hold its Gathering of Great Lakes Nations from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. June 8 and and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 9 at the Tri-State Antique Gas Engine and Tractor Association Grounds.
Admission is $3 for those 12 and older, with a maximum of $12 per car. On-site camping is $10 per night.

Rescheduled
The Jay County Community Innovation Fair that was postponed from May 3 when school was canceled because of fog has been rescheduled for May 15. The event at Jay County High School will run from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. with awards at 1:45 p.m.
Graduates
Katy Smeltzer, a Portland native, graduated this month with a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of the Cumberlands.
Brandi Liechty of Geneva graduated with a master’s degree in social work from Campbellsville University.
