Evalyn Caldwell

Evalyn E. “Lyn” Caldwell, age 72, Dunkirk, died Sunday May 12, 2019, at home following an illness.

Born in Santa Anna, California, on Feb. 15, 1947, she was a 1965 graduate of Orange High School (California). She lived in Dunkirk the past several years and enjoyed crocheting, playing BINGO, reading her Bible and a good challenge. Before retiring, Lyn was self-employed doing tax work for several years.

Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Rickie Caldwell; a son, Brad Everett Rogers (wife: Marla), Augusta, California; a daughter, Shellie Renee Butcher (husband: Cameron), Sacramento, California; a stepson, Rickie Leon Caldwell (wife: Amy), Redkey; a stepdaughter, Heather Clemmons (husband: David), Dunkirk; three brothers, Robert Garrison, Texas, Ron Garrison, Arizona, and Steve Garrison, Romoland, California; two sisters, Sharon Loeb (husband: Tim), Perris, California, and Marcie Garrison, Romoland, California; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation was chosen; there will be no public services.
