A historian is preparing to help bring Gene Stratton-Porter to life.
Historian and performer Glory-June Greiff will portray Stratton-Porter from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Limberlost State Historic Site.
Greiff will tell the story of Stratton-Porter’s life, portraying her from about 1921. She will also read some of Stratton-Porter’s essays and poetry.
Admission to the event will be $4 for for members and $5 for non-members.

A Go Ivy event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. May 22 at Kennedy Library, 1700 W. McGalliard Road, Muncie.

Offering program
Swiss Village will offer its Summer Junior Volunteer Program this year.
The program places students ages 10 and older in volunteer positions at Swiss Village, Kinder Haus or Muselman Wellness Pavilion. It runs May 28 through Aug. 9.
