Harold Ridgway

Harold L. Ridgway, age 83, a resident of Portland, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019, at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

He owned and operated Ridgway’s Concrete in Portland for 25 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of the NRA and Portland Moose Lodge.

Harold was born Jan. 30, 1936, in Jay County, Indiana, the son of William and Violet (Taylor) Ridgway.

He was married on April 19, 1958, to Phyllis “Ann” Haffner.

One son — Michael Ridgway (wife: Sheryl), Portland, Indiana

One daughter — Michelle Upp (husband: Darrell), Portland, Indiana

One brother — Richard Ridgway

One sister-in-law — Betty Haffner, Portland, Indiana

Grandchildren — Amber Fifer (husband: Ryan), Justin Ridgway (wife: Tiffany), Doug Ridgway and Lindzy Upp

Great-grandchildren — Mason Ridgway, Max Fifer, Jaxson Ridgway, Mia Fifer and Tyson Ridgway

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
