Car show scheduled Saturday

Jay County Wrestling Club will host a car show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Buffalo Wings and Rings in Portland.

Registration open

Registration is now open for the Arts Place’s annual summer arts program, which will offer classes beginning June 10.

The program for children ages 6 through 12 offers classes in dance, theatre and art. Classes are offered in Portland, Dunkirk, Pennville, Montpelier, Berne, Hartford City, Fort Recovery and other locations in Mercer County.

Grants available

The Portland Foundation is accepting applications for its summer grants.

Applications that are open include standard grants as well as Teacher Creativity Mini Grants. The foundation is also accepting applications for scholarships for current college students.

The deadline for all grant applications is 5 p.m. June 1.

KiPS sign-up open

Registration is open for Jay County Public Library’s Kindergarten Prep School (KiPS).

The program will run on Tuesdays from June 11 through July 30. Applications are available at the library.
