Mariners to visit library story time
Story time is going to come with a few swings.
Fort Recovery Public Library will host Story Time with the Grand Lake Mariners at 1:30 a.m. June 4.
Members of the Grand Lake Mariners amateur baseball team, which is based in Celina, Ohio, will read stories to children in attendance. They will also help with a craft.
Meeting planned
Jay County Civic Theatre will hold its annual meeting at 6 p.m. June 10 at West Walnut Street Church of Christ in Portland.
The meeting will include the election of two board members, voting on bylaw changes and appointment of the show selection committee. All Jay County Civic Theatre members — anyone who has contributed their time or funds to a show in the last three years — are eligible to vote.
Following the brief meeting, there will be a carry-in meal. That will be followed by karaoke, improv and games.
