“Hungry Gardens,” featuring the work of Tori Tasch, will go on display Monday at Arts Place.
Tasch, a Wisconsin artists who specializes in printmaking, papermaking and multimedia art, is a past Arts in the Parks teacher who will be returning this year. Her students’ work will be on display along with her exhibit.
A reception for the exhibit is set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 27.

Conference set
LifeStream Services will hold its annual Aging Well Conference from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Horizon Convention Center in Muncie.
The conference will feature Loretta Swit as its keynote speaker. She is best known for playing Maj. Margaret Houlihan on “M*A*S*H.”
The event will also include a resource fair and breakout sessions of older adults, veterans, caregivers and healthcare professionals.
Hosting academy
Indiana Wesleyan University will host its Wildcat Summer Academy June 23 through 28.
The camps include a variety of options, including new offerings in science and songwriting this year. Camp topics include art, business innovation and entrepreneurship, leadership and life calling, nursing, science, music, theatre and writing.
