Gierharts celebrate 50th
David L. and Jo Ann Gierhart are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
Dave Gierhart and Jo Ann Keller were wed on Nov. 30, 1969 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Berne.
They are both retired from the family dairy farm. Jo Ann is also retired from the Jay School Corporation after 30 years as an instructional assistant. Dave continues to grain farm.
They are the parents of two daughters, Sara Mercer, husband Dru, and Shelli Rigsbee, husband Eric. They have seven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
The couple will celebrate with a family dinner.
