Harmony show starts Thursday

The monster arrives Thursday.
Portland-based Harmony Players will launch their production of “Young Frankenstein” on Halloween at Horizon Convention Center in Muncie.
The production of the Mel Brooks musical comedy features shows at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday. There will be performances at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Hosting hallelujah
Redkey Faith Ministries will host a “Hallelujah Night” from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The event will include food and games and is open to children fifth grade and younger. The church is located at 9811 W. Indiana 67.
Concerts scheduled
Ball State University’s jazz ensembles will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Sursa Hall as part of the Art of Jazz Series.
Other upcoming performances at Sursa Hall include:
•IN-ASTA Orchestra Invitational, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday
•David Dumlavwalla piano recital, 7:30 p.m. Friday
•Statesmen, women’s chorus and University Choral Union, 3 p.m. Sunday
•Undergraduate concerto competition, 5:30 p.m. Monday

The Indiana Senate Republican Caucus is offering paid internships for the spring semester.
Candidates must be a college sophomore or older. Internships are full-time positions with a biweekly stipend of $750.

Breakfast set
There will be a benefit breakfast for Secret Families Christmas Charity of Jay County from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. The cost is $6 for all the pancakes and sausage you can eat.
All of the proceeds go to sponsor a bright Christmas for Jay County families.
