“Weathering the Storm in Agriculture,” a program being put on by Jay Count’s Purdue Extension office and Jay County Farm Bureau, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Homan Farms, 6285 N. 1025 West, Pennville.
The event will feature Kelly Heckaman, a Kosciusko County Purdue Extension educator focusing on agriculture and natural resources, and Angela Sorg, a DeKalb County Purdue Extension educator focusing on health and human sciences. They will discuss how to cultivate a productive mindset in agriculture.
A meal will follow the hour-long presentation.

Horror is back
Cornerstone Center for the Arts in Muncie will host a showing of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” at 8 p.m. Sept. 28.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the night of the event. Doors will open for general admission at 7:30 p.m.

Workshop scheduled
Darke County Genealogy will host its fall workshop at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 5 at Garst Museum, 205 N. Broadway, Greenville, Ohio.
Dana Palmer will be the featured speaker for the event. Discussions will include using ancestor.com, using Fold 3 for military research, reading German handwriting and Ohio genealogy.
The registration fee is $20 for those who sign up before Sept. 25, or $25 at the door. For more information, email [email protected].

Swiss Village will host EZ & Company in concert at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The group, based out of Lima, Ohio, performs gospel music. The event is free and open to the public.
