Election board to visit library
Taking Note
With election day coming up, Fort Recovery Public Library will offer some help for voters.
The library will have members of Mercer County Board of Elections on hand from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Ohio residents can visit the library to receive help registering to vote and updating their address. They can also see the new voting machines that will be used in Mercer County.

Family LifeCare in Berne will offer a grief healing workshop in October.
The workshop is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17, 24, and 31 at Family LifeCare, 108 S. Jefferson St. Sessions will include topics such as the difference between grief and clinical depression, the grief process and the elements necessary to heal.

Workshops set
Cornerstone Center for the Arts in Muncie will host a series of workshops, camps and other events in October.
One of the featured events for the month is “If Muncie Walls Could Talk,” which will feature exploring history through maps, city directories and photographs. It is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Oct. 2 and is free and open to the public.
Fall break art camps are scheduled for Oct. 7 through 9. They include topics such as visual arts, dance, theatre and fitness.
Monthly Dance Club, led by Portland’s David Fennig, will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 5. Also on the scheduled is Bad Art Night at 6 p.m. Oct. 10.

Adams Memorial Hospital will host Mammaography Night from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The hospital will offer 3-D screening mammograms. There will also be refreshments and free massages.
