Ruthanne Bunch

Ruthanne Bunch, age 79, of Bryant passed away Sunday morning, Sept. 22, 2019, at her residence.

She was born in Jay County on Jan. 7, 1940, the daughter of Ivan and Gladys (Miller) Shirk. She was married to Donald Max Brotherton, who passed away in 1960. On Jan. 5, 1963, she married Samy Bunch, and he died March 19, 2016. She was a homemaker and a 1958 graduate of Portland High School.

Surviving are one son, Tim Brotherton of Portland; two daughters, Anita Foudray of Burlington, Kentucky, and Beth Longworth (husband: Larry) of Winchester; step-daughter Joyce Duke of Portland; sister Linda Byrum of Portland; special caregiver Tacaria Brotheron; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christina Bunch.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
