Raye Paxson
April 14, 1965-March 31, 2020
Raye Evaline Paxson, 54, of Pennville, Indiana, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at her residence.
Raye was born in Muncie, Indiana, on April 14, 1965, a daughter of the late Raye Evadine (Flowers) and James Brown. She was a graduate of Jay County High School and formerly employed by Bing Lear in Berne, Indiana.
Raye was a very kind and giving person who loved to help people. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, crocheting, fishing and listening to gospel and blue grass music.
Raye is survived by one son, Donnie Cosner (Macey Gerber); one daughter, Ashley Drees (husband: Christopher); four brothers, Steve Brown (wife: Ginger), David Brown (wife: Vickie), James Douglas Brown (wife: Aneeda) and Rick Brown (wife: Dana); two sisters, Diana Roach (husband: Kevin) and Ira Kay Ward (husband: Rodney); and four grandchildren who she loved dearly, Hunter, Lennon and Grant Cosner, and Benjamin Drees.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Raye’s giving spirit to Pennville Manor.
Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries – Redkey Chapel.
