Indiana State Health Commissioner Dr. Kristina Box cautioned Monday that the state is not likely to see the peak of its surge until late April or early May.
“I really do believe that we have not seen the peak of that surge yet but I do believe it will be a lot lower, which is the result of all the very strict guidelines and requirements that we’ve had for social distancing in this state,” she said.
The state’s 37 new deaths is up from seven reported Monday. The high mark was 55 Friday.
