Obituary
It is with deep sadness that the family of Karen K. Tullis Meckstroth announces her passing on April 13, 2020, at the age of 61 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
Karen was born in Portland, Indiana, to William and Norma (Worth) Tullis on Sept. 27, 1958. She was married to Allan Meckstroth on July 4, 2015. They were together a total of 12 years.
She was a 1976 Jay County High School graduate.
Surviving are her husband Allan; her father William J. Tullis of Portland; two brothers, Tracy Tullis (wife: Ann) of Monrovia and Terry Tullis (companion: Heidi) of Greenfield; her daughter Kia (McKee) Baughn (husband: Casey) of Spring Hill, Florida; stepson Davlyn Study of Ridgeville; two granddaughters, Kaylee and Sophia; grandson Skylar; and one great-granddaughter, Evelyn Rose.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother Norma (Worth) Tullis on April 14, 2016.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Baird-Freeman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
