Katie Grigsby, age 21, a resident of Decatur, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020, in Fort Wayne.
Katie was born on Nov.16, 1998, in Bluffton, Indiana, the daughter of Edward and Michelle (Gierhart) Grigsby and graduated from Bellmont High School.
Survivors include:
Her parents — Edward and Michelle Grigsby, Pennville, Indiana
One brother — Caleb Grigsby, Portland, Indiana
Two sisters — Haley Stone, Portland, Indiana, and Elizabeth Caylor, Winchester, Indiana
Grandparents — Gordon Grigsby, Portland, Indiana, Debbie Grigsby, Portland, Indiana, Tammy McDavid, Pennville, Indiana, and Curtis Gierhart, Winchester, Indiana
Great-Grandparents — Ed Grigsby, Hazzard, Kentucky, and Esther Gierhart, Knightstown, Indiana
Several nieces and nephews
A virtual visitation and candlelight vigil will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. on the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home Facebook page.
Private visitation will be held on Wednesday at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Graveside services will follow at IOOF Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville.
