To the editor:
By now, we have all heard of COVID-19.
We have seen and heard how the pandemic is affecting various aspects of our life, as well as the lives of those around us.
I believe that we can all agree that it is an especially crucial time to keep our bodies resilient against illness by keeping ourselves as healthy as we can be. Here are some tips for maintaining overall physical and mental health:
•Eat a healthy diet,
•Move your body as often as you can,
•Get plenty of rest,
•Quit smoking and/or vaping because, yes, you are more at risk for developing COVID-19 or can have more serious complications after developing it. (If you would like to quit, free help is available at (800) QUIT-NOW or QuitNowIndiana.com. For those individuals who are interested in quitting vaping can text “Indiana” to 88709 to enroll in the free “This is Quitting” text messaging program.)
You can find up-to-date information about the coronavirus in Indiana, please visit coronavirus.in.gov.
