Minnetrista to try modified market
Taking note
The Farmers Market at Minnetrista in Muncie will be open on a modified basis beginning Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Classified as an essential community service by the Delaware County Health Department, the market will be operated in accordance with all guidelines related to COVID-19, Minnetrista spokesmen said.
The market will take place in Minnetrisa’s main parking lot, with vendors spaced out appropriately. Parking is located at the Delaware County Fairgrounds, just west of Minnetrista.
There will be a single entrance and exit, and no more than 50 individuals will be allowed into the market at any one time. No cooked food or beverages will be made onsite and all wagons that are available will be wiped down between uses. Vendors will be provided masks and gloves and hand sanitizer stations will be available to patrons.
A tentative list of vendors, subject to change, includes:
Brinkman’s Farm
Dragonwood
Firm Root Farm
Michael’s Honey and Herbs
Scheidler Farm to Table
Shrock Family Farm
