Campground accident
A Portland man failed to see he was backing his car into a truck parked at Paradise Point RV Resort at 3965 W. 550 South, Portland, at around 3 p.m. Saturday.
Kevin D. Woodbury, 57, was attempting to leave his parking spot when he backed into a parked Ford F-150 with his 2017 Honda Ridgeline.
The Ford is registered to Troy A. Atkinson, Portland. Damage was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.
Apartment accident
Two Portland women were involved in an accident in the parking lot at Wind Rush Apartments at 997 Boundary Pike, Portland, at 5:03 p.m. Monday.
Megan J. Sutton-Robbins, 21, failed to see she was backing into the vehicle of Ciara E. Bailey, 19, who was honking the horn of her car which was stationary on the driveway.
Sutton-Robbins was driving a 2002 Ford Focus registered to Thomas L. Robbins, Portland, and Bailey was driving a 2008 Chevy Impala registered to Brian and Jennifer Bailey, both of Portland. Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
Deer hit
An Eaton man was unable to avoid driving into a deer on Indiana 67 near county road 400 South at around 8:36 a.m. Monday.
Jason L. Young, 50, was westbound on the highway when a deer ran in front of the 2019 Nissan Versa he was driving.
The Nissan is registered to Enterprise Fleet Management, St. Louis, Missouri. Damage was estimated between $2,500 and $5,000.
