“When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”
“Pull ourselves up from the bootstraps.”
All clichés we have all heard time and time again. This year has been a challenging time for everyone. However, the individuals and businesses and families of Jay County once again have risen up and gone above and beyond to support the youth of this community.
When the decision was made that the 4-H auction would not happen like it would in normal years, the executive committee and 4-H council members asked the businesses and individuals of Jay County to make any donations they felt comfortable making. At the end of the fair, the money would be split evenly among all the 4-H members that qualified.
This community definitely went above and beyond the call.
