Connie and Perry Walker married 55 years
Connie and Perry Walker of rural Portland are celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary Saturday.
Connie Compton married Perry Walker on Aug. 15, 1965, at Zion Lutheran Church in Portland.
Perry worked at Jay Garment and FCC, and Connie worked at CVS. Both are now retired.
They are the parents of Kevin Walker of Berne and Randy Walker of North Carolina. They have three grandchildren.
