Cora Imogene “Genie” Dull, age 92, of Portland passed away Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, in Persimmon Ridge Healthcare.
She was born in Jay County on July 4, 1928, the daughter of John Moses and Essie E. (Tullis) Macklin. She was married on April 14, 1945, to Harry C. Dull and he passed away on Jan. 28, 2008.
She was a homemaker and a missionary with her husband for many years, going all over the world. She was a member of Evangelical Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Stephen Dull (wife: Sheron) of Redkey, John Dull of Portland and George Dull (wife: Terri) of Upland; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, at 1 p.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Herb Hummel presiding. Burial will follow in the Claycomb Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Memorials can be made to the Evangelical Methodist Church.
