Tribe girls fall to Fort Loramie

Fort Recovery’s girls golf team fell to Fort Loramie 180-190 Monday at Portland Golf Club.

Jalyn Bruns earned match medalist honors in leading the Indians in the loss. She finished with a 39, the second straight match she’s shot in the 30s after setting the school record with a 35 Thursday.

Shelby Stammen and Alli Vaughn shot matching scores of 49 for the team’s No. 2 score, and Kendra Dues shot 53 to complete the Tribe’s team score.

Paige Bihn (5) and Shelby Acheson (65) also competed but they did not factor into the team score.



Boys beat Rangers

MINSTER, Ohio — Carson Rammel shot a career best 39 in leading the Fort Recovery boys past the New Knoxville Rangers 181-215 Monday at Arrowhead Golf Club.

Fort Recovery improved to 2-2 (2-1 Midwest Athletic Conference).

Isaac LeFevre was second for FRHS with 44, and Derek Lochtefeld shot 48. Zander Kunkler rounded out the team score with his round of 50.

A.J. Romer and Cole Muhlenkamp also competed and both had 53.
