Obituary
Beverly Joan (VanSkyock) Weaver, age 87, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away on Aug. 21, 2020.
She was born in Portland on July 27, 1933, the daughter of Norval and Ruth Helen (Bush) VanSkyock.
She was a 1951 Portland High School graduate and enjoyed collecting and selling antiques, playing Bunco, bowling and playing softball. She had worked in the office of Jay Garment for many years.
Beverly is survived by her son, Rick Matchett (wife: Becky) of Portland; daughter Kelli Matchett of Mesquite, Texas; and stepson Mike Weaver Jr. Also surviving are brother Larry VanSkyock (wife: Judy) of Portland; sister Jean Laughman (husband: Ed) of Winchester; sister-in-law Cindy Shawver (husband: Mike) of Portland; grandchildren Andrew Weaver and Megan Terry.
She was preceded in death by brothers Jerry VanSkyock and Richard VanSkyock.
A celebration of Beverly will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Rockwall, Texas.
Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
