Obituary
Nina Records, age 93, a resident of Portland, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2020, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Dunkirk.
She was a registered nurse and worked at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, and the Dalton Foundry in Warsaw. She and her late husband Earl were owners in White Metal Rolling and Stamping in Warsaw, Indiana. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland, Jay County Hospital Auxiliary and Tri-Kappa Associates Chapter.
Nina Records was born April 21, 1927, in Spencer County, Indiana, the daughter of Edwin and Mary Elizabeth (Johnson) Ayer. She was married in 1977 to Earl Records and he passed away in 2010
Survivors include:
One son — Steven Douglas (wife: Bonnie), Dacula, Georgia
Three daughters — Carol Wallace (husband: John) Salem, Massachusetts, Sally Records, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Pam Bennett (husband: Pat), Portland, Indiana
Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a son, Jay Records.
Private services for the family will be held Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw, Indiana. Pastor Allison Yankey will officiate the service.
