William Thomas

William Brian Thomas, 60, of Edinburgh died at 6:37 p.m. Dec. 8 at IU Health North in Carmel.

Brian was born Nov. 1, 1960, in Suffolk, Virginia, the son of William Lee Thomas and Betty Ann Holt Thomas. He married Lisa Coffey Thomas on Dec. 18, 1982.

Brian attended Healing Waters Ministries Church and enjoyed gospel music, singing and playing piano. He was employed at G and H Orthodontics in Franklin.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Healing Waters Ministries Church with the Rev. Tony Garris officiating with visitation beginning at 1 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa; son, Craig (Samantha) Thomas of Dunkirk; daughter, Tabitha (Robert) Bowdell of Muncie; grandson, Robert Isaiah Bowdell; brothers Dale (Jayne) Irvine of South Hampton, England, Tony (Stephanie) Thomas of Ohio, Dan Lee (Cleo) Thomas of Portland and Randy (Scott Helms) Thomas of Scottsdale, Arizona; and his father and stepmother, William Lee and Bessie Thomas of Portland, Indiana; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty; and a brother, Don Lee Thomas.

Services were entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
