Bobby Allen Bailey, 79, of Farmland passed away late Thursday evening, Dec. 17, 2020, at his home surrounded by family.

He was born May 2, 1941, in Winchester, Indiana, the son of Frank and Arva Joyce Bailey.

Bobby enjoyed several positions throughout his career. He was a skilled welder and managed Mid State Steel in Winchester.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Bailey and Arva Joyce Bailey; and one brother, Larry Bailey

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Portland Indiana.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Connie Jellision Williams Bailey and their special dog Izzy; three sons, Bobby Bailey Jr. (wife: Lori) of Palestine, Ohio, Michael Bailey (wife: Jeanette) of Sabillasville, Maryland, and Shawn Bailey (wife: Kelsey) of Centerville, Indiana; five daughters, Kimberly Stamper (husband: Dale) of Centerville, Indiana, Holly Kammerer (husband: Craig) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tracy Reum (husband: Kenny) of Redkey, Indiana, Dawn Roberson (husband: Jay) of Savanah, Georgia, and Leslie Bailey Spartanburg, Indiana; eighteen grandchildren; and more than 18 great-grandchildren.

Bob had many talents. He was a musician and able to play many instruments, including the drums and keyboards. He always enjoyed playing in several bands and especially a good “jam session.” Bob was also known for his quick whit and sense of humor. He truly was one of a kind and could always bring a smile and a laugh to any room. He will be greatly missed.
