Judith Moore

Judith Marie Moore, 80, Connersville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020, at Heritage House of Connersville where she had been a patient for the past week.

One of two children of Michael and Edith Bullock Weiler, Judith was born Dec. 22, 1939, in Connersville. She was a graduate of St. Gabriel School and a 1957 graduate of Connersville High School. Judith attended Ball State University and did office work for banks and doctor's offices.

Judith married Don Moore of Connersville on Nov. 24, 1960.

Together, they moved to Cincinnati and then to Southport followed by Jay County. In 1985, they moved back to Connersville.

She was a member of St. Gabriel Church, and in her leisure time she enjoyed reading, playing cards and watching westerns.

In addition to her husband of 59 years, Don Moore, survivors include a daughter, Michelle Moore of Cassopolis, Michigan; a sister-in-law, Rovene Weiler of Vancouver, Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Greg Alan Moore; a daughter, Diana Lynn Moore; and a brother, Myril Weiler.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Dustin Boehm at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020, in St. Gabriel Church with burial to follow in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2020, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home.
