Obituaries
Kenneth John Denham, 79, Redkey, passed away peacefully at 12:03 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.
Kenneth was born in Leicester, Massachusetts, on Aug. 25, 1940, a son of the late Helen E. (Gagnon) and Frederick J. Denham. Kenneth was proud to have served his country in the United States Navy and owned his own roofing business. He was a hard-working man who loved to work with his hands. Kenneth enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, working in the garden, fishing, art work, reading, dancing, animals, traveling, trips to Florida and watching Hee Haw and The Lawrence Welk Show.
Kenneth is survived by two sons, Jeffrey A. Denham and Kenneth A. Denham (wife: Nadine); one daughter, Susan M. Hathaway (husband: Les R.); four brothers, France (Butch), Al, Gary and John Denham; four sisters, Janet Ozak, Arlene Denham, Sue Stinchfield and Barbra Burns; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Richard, Edward, Ronald and and Fredrick Jr. Denham; and one sister, Jean Watson.
Friends are invited to call Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, from 4 to 6 p.m. at MJS Mortuaries – Redkey Chapel. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ridgeville American Legion. Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries.
