Jennifer L. Garringer, 46, of Portland, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly after going missing Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020.
She was born March 3, 1973, in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of James L. and Josephine (Overla) Garringer. She was a 1991 graduate of Jay County High School of Portland, Indiana.
Jennifer had worked at Huntsman Power Washing. She will be greatly missed by her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory her parents; a son, Nathan East of Portland; two grandchildren, Aries and Olivia; a brother, Brian Garringer of Redkey; two sisters, Tonya Fennig (husband: Steve) of Redkey and Leslie Garringer of Redkey; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Jennifer’s life will be 7 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2020, at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Dunkirk Memorial Chapel of Dunkirk, Indiana. Cremation was selected. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 5 p.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wilson Shook Funeral Home, 317 N. Main St. Dunkirk, IN 47336, to assist with funeral expenses.
