Invasion of privacy
Ted L. Huey Jr., 43, 105 E. Main St., Bryant, pleaded guilty to two counts of invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor, in two separate court cases. As part of his plea agreement, a Level 6 felony domestic battery charge was dismissed.
In total Huey Jr. was sentenced to 730 days in jail with all but 60 days suspended and given six days credit for three days served. The remainder of his sentence was ordered to be served on electronically monitored home detention.
He was placed on probation for 11 months and assessed court costs of $370.
Possession
A Portland teenager will serve no immediate jail time after pleading guilty to unlawful possession or use of a legend drug, a Class A misdemeanor.
Savanah D. Yoder, 19, 829 E. 400 North, was sentenced to one year in jail with all but 24 days suspended and given 24 days credit for 12 days served. She was placed on probation for one year, assessed court costs of $185 and ordered to pay $400 for a substance abuse program and $200 in drug abuse, prosecution, interdiction and correction fees.
Johnothan P. Fischer, 23, 504 W. Race St., pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 365 days in Jay County Jail and given two days credit for one day served.
He was placed on probation for one year, fined $50, assessed court costs of $185 and ordered to pay $200 in drug abuse, prosecution, interdiction and correction fees.
While suspended
A Dunkirk man will serve no immediate jail time after pleading guilty to driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor.
Nicholas T. Gaunt, 40, 366 W. Pleasant St., was sentenced to one year in Jay County Jail with all but 10 days suspended and given 10 days credit for five days served. He was placed on probation for one year and assessed court costs of $185.50.
Public intoxication
A Dunkirk man will serve no immediate jail time after pleading guilty to public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor.
Ryan L. Sampley, 45, 112 S. Indiana St., was sentenced to 180 days in jail with all but four days suspended and given four days credit for two days served. He was placed on probation for six months and assessed court costs of $185.
Battery
An Albany man will serve no immediate jail time after pleading guilty to battery resulting in bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor.
Jerry L. White, 53, 9280 N. 650 East, was sentenced to one year in jail with all but two days suspended and given two days credit for one day served. He was placed on probation for six months and assessed court costs of $185.
Theft
A woman whose last known address was in Union City will serve no immediate jail time after pleading guilty to theft, a Class A misdemeanor.
Tammy S. Pursley, 49, was sentenced to one year in jail with all but 14 days suspended and given 14 days credit for seven days served. She was placed on probation for six months, assessed court costs of $185 and fined $1.
Probation violation
Parker M. Squier, 30, 355 S. Washington St., Pennville, was found to have violated his probation related to a Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana charge.
He was ordered to serve an additional 148 days of his original sentence and given 130 days credit for 65 days served.
