Regina Zalinski

Regina L. “Gina” Zalinski, 63, passed away on Thursday evening, Jan. 2, 2020, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Feb. 21, 1956, in Portland, the daughter of Vernon E. and Teresa L. (Prue) Stoner and graduated from Portland High School in 1974. On Dec. 16, 1976, in Portland, she married Charles W. Zalinski.

Gina was a homemaker who lovingly cared for her family and home and was a member of Salamonia Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing and crafts.

Surviving are one daughter, Teresa Kelly (husband: Clint) of Anderson; and two sisters, Debra Barker (husband: Mark) of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Galen Stoner of Muncie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 35 years, Charles W. Zalinski on June 24, 2012; and one son, Michael Zalinski in 2008.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at Salamonia Church of Christ with Pastor Bruce Phillips officiating. Cremation will take place.

Family and friends may call at Salamonia Church of Christ from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020.
