Dieter Johnson
Dieter Johnson, age 65, a resident of Marion, Indiana, passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, at the Marion VA in Marion, Indiana. He was a former resident of Redkey, Indiana.
Dieter was born on Sept. 18, 1954, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Damon and Herta (Hofstetter) Johnson. He graduated from Redkey High School and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He worked for Miller Tire, Sears and Pizza King in Muncie.
Survivors include:
Two daughters — Bethany Aldrich (husband: Michael), Bellingham, Washington, and Sheena Johnson, Tacoma, Washington
Four sisters — Diana Bolz (husband: Bruce), Portland, Indiana, Linda Miller, Redkey, Indiana, Christina Cook (husband: Bob), Cookeville, Tennessee, and Susan Gores (husband: Ronald), Redkey, Indiana
Two grandchildren
One great-granddaughter
Several nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by a son, Jared Johnson; and a granddaughter, Catherine Ann Welch.
Burial will be held at a later date in the Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
