Dolores E. Depweg, age 96, of Fort Recovery, passed away on Jan. 21, 2020 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born Nov. 8, 1923, in Fort Recovery, to the late Andrew and Mary (Buschor) Knapschaefer. She married the late Harold Depweg, who died Dec. 11, 1979.
Surviving are two daughters, Pat (Gary) St. Myer of Delaware, Ohio, and Peg (Orv) Jutte of Tenino, Washington; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Lois Knapschaefer of Portland, Indiana.
Preceding her in death were her son, Joe (Wendy) Depweg; one grandchild; a sister, Rita (Ralph) Godwin; and a brother, Ralph Knapschaefer.
Dolores was a graduate of Fort Recovery High School and was employed as a waitress at the former Thobe's Restaurant, Fort Recovery, for many years.
She was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery, and its Altar Sodality.
Services are 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, with Fr. Ned Brown officiating.
Calling is 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at Brockman – Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
