Linda Arnold

Linda K. Arnold. 80, formally of Portland, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Jan. 5, 2020, at Birchview Memory Care in Sedro Woolley, Washington, at the young age of 80.

Linda was born on April 2, 1939, to Larry and Betty Armstrong in Winchester, Indiana.

Linda married the love of her life Gordon Duane Arnold on June 28, 1956, and they were together until his passing in 2014. Linda then moved to Washington state to be closer to her children.

Linda lived a full and vibrant life with her family and friends. Her love for her family and friends was like no other. Linda will always be remembered for her love, care and compassion for whoever walked thru her door.

Linda is survived by her children Jeffrey K. (Tylene) Arnold of Overgaard, Arizona, Michael B. of Oak Harbor, Washington, Gregory S. of Oak Harbor, Washington, Bradley K. of Ohio and Troy D. of Oak Harbor, Washington; brother Tom (Jan) Armstrong of Portland, Indiana; grandchildren Aaron, Eric, Rebecca and Hannah; five great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Betty Armstrong; and her husband Gordon Duane Arnold in 2014.

The family would like to thank the staff at Birchview Memory Care for taking great care of Mom these last few years as well as Hospices of the Northwest for its love, care, compassion and support during this difficult time.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Northwest or your favorite charity in Linda’s name.

At Linda’s request, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband Gordon in Portland, Indiana.
