Caleb Daniel Rouch, age 29, of Portland passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at IU Health Jay hospital following a sudden illness.
He was born in Portland on Oct. 22, 1990, the son of Brett Rouch and Rita (Timmons) Rouch. He worked for Pennville Custom Cabinets in Portland. He was a 2009 graduate of Jay County High School where he was in choir, a 2010 graduate of Lincoln Tech, a member of Scout Troop 202. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and attending the Tri-State Antique Gas Engine and Tractor Show.
Surviving are his father Brett Rouch of Portland; his mother Rita Rouch of Portland; fiancé Megan Hardwick of Portland; grandparents Jack and Helen Rouch of Portland; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 11, 2020, at 6 p.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Ward presiding. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m.
Memorials can be made to the Boy Scout Cabin.
