Pollinator field day set at Stafford farm

The Indiana State Department of Agriculture and the Jay and Blackford Soil and Water Conservation Districts will hold a pollinator/invasive species field day at the Stafford farm north of Dunkirk on June 25.
The event, which is scheduled to start at 2 p.m., will feature remarks by local landowner and conservationist Rebecca Stafford, private lands biologist Kent Hanauer from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and Ricardo Ortiz-Rios, district conservationist for the US. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service.
The Stafford farm is located at 119 S. Indiana 167, which is 3.1 miles north of Dunkirk.
Those attending should wear appropriate walking shoes and dress according to the weather. Light refreshments will be provided.

LifeStream Services has received a $10,000 grant from the Glick Community Relief Fund, a grant program of Glick Philanthropies to help local nonprofit organizations continue to respond to the coronavirus pandemic.
LifeStream serves over 19,000 seniors and people with disabilities throughout 12 counties in Indiana including Jay County.
