Ag Week breakfast Tuesday

Next week is Ag Week in Jay County with the annual Ag Day breakfast and Farmers Night Out topping the list of activities.

The Ag Day breakfast will be from 5:30 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday at the Jay County 4-H Building at the Jay County Fairgrounds.

Volunteers will be cooking up sausage and eggs to serve with toast, milk, tomato juice and coffee.

Tickets are $1 per person and are available from area banks Ag Day Committee members, the Purdue Extension Office, the Farm Service Agency and Jay County Farm Bureau. They can also be purchased at the door.

Thursday, March 19, will be Farmers Night Out with dinner and entertainment beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Also to be held at the Jay County 4-H Building, the event will feature the Jay County High School choral groups and Jim Barron, a comedian and magician.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Those with special dietary concerns should contact the Extension Office at (260) 726-4707.
