Jay County’s name remains on an ever-dwindling list.
According to Indiana State Department of Health numbers released this morning, Jay County is now one of just 13 counties in the state that does not have a confirmed case of coronavirus.
Indiana’s total jumped by 272 Sunday to 1,786 confirmed cases, with 45% of those in Marion County. The state, which ranks 10th in the nation for total cases, had three more deaths Sunday, bringing the total to 35.
Jay and Blackford counties are on the short list of those without a confirmed case. Among the 79 counties with confirmed cases are Delaware (15), Adams (one), Randolph (one) and Wells (one). Darke and Mercer counties in Ohio have three and two confirmed cases, respectively.
As of its last update at 2 p.m. Sunday, Ohio Department of Health reported 1,653 confirmed cases and 29 deaths.
