The Indians have a plan.
Fort Recovery Local Schools on Wednesday released details about its plan for graduation with Ohio’s stay-at-home restrictions still in place.
Fort Recovery High School plans to hold a graduation walk/parade at 2 p.m. May 17, the originally scheduled time and date for the ceremony, with students staggered for social distancing. Then, an in-person ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. June 28 at Barrenbrugge Athletic Park, assuming state guidelines allow such an event at that time.
The decision on graduation came after FRHS principal Bill Overla met last week with senior class officers. They came up with a series of options, which were then presented to the class of 2020 in a survey.
Additional details about the May 17 event are being finalized with additional details to be released early next week.
