Phyllis Ford

Phyllis Ford, age 81, a resident of Pennville, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.

She graduated from Pennville High School in 1957. She was a secretary for Oxydental Chemical in Bryant and was the manager of Pennville Pantry for 28 years. She was a member of the M.A.L. of Delta Theta Tau Sorority.

Phyllis Ford was born Jan. 28, 1939, in Jay County, Indiana, the daughter of Thomas H. and Mabel (Ogan) Austin. She was married on Sept. 17, 1958, to Keith Ford.

Her beloved husband — Keith Ford, Pennville, Indiana

One daughter — Krista Scholer, Pennville, Indiana

One granddaughter — Alexa Adair (husband: Mark), Wabash, Indiana

One sister — Wanda L. McEwen, Pennville, Indiana

Several nieces and nephews.

There will be no public services.
