Hazel Noble

Obituary

Hazel Beatrice Pyle Noble, 93, of The Villages, Florida, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 24, 2020.

Hazel was born in Jay County, Indiana, to Wilmer Lewis and Ruth Elizabeth (Riesen) Pyle.

She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Dale Noble; son, Gregory Noble (Susan Adamcik) of The Villages; and daughter and son-in-law, Juanita and Chuck Mander of The Villages.

Hazel is also “great grandmother” to Audrey through a strong bond of love they shared.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Edna Baker Ray, infant Lori Pyle, Helen Harris and Pearl Champ; brother Sherman Pyle; and her little cocker spaniel, Ginger.

She graduated from Bryant High School in June 1945 where she was a cheerleader and sang in school productions. She took correspondence bible classes through Liberty Bible College.

Hazel was an amazing woman. She married her high school sweetheart on June 23, 1946, and went by motorcycle to Niagara Falls for their honeymoon. They and their two children traveled the world through Dale’s military duty assignments in Japan, Germany, France and England. Her motto was always “where Dale hung his hat was home.” Hazel embraced all new assignments with excitement and planned trips that took the family exploring throughout Japan, Europe and Algeria. She enjoyed 20 years of motor-homing with her husband throughout North America. They settled in The Villages in 2004 near their son.

Hazel was a woman of strong Christian faith and looked forward to eternal life with The Father and Jesus. She was a member of Fairway Christian Church and loved all of her friends there, and friends in the local area and throughout the world.

There will be a Celebration of Life at Fairway Christian Church at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in Hazel’s name to your favorite charity.
