Howard Patch, age 96, of Bryant passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020, at Swiss Village in Berne.
He was born in Grant County, Indiana, on Aug. 29, 1924, the son of Clarence and Martha (Alderton) Patch. He was married on April 20, 1946, to Delores Patterson and she passed away on July 8, 2020.
Howard was retired from Meschbergers and had also worked for Karsh Stone and Bearcreek Farms. He attended the Evangelical Methodist Church and Macklin Chapel.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan Hoover (husband: Steven) of Kansas City, Missouri, and Cindy Betz (husband: Larry) of Geneva; one sister, Ruth Habegger of Berne; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at 1 p.m. in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Hines presiding. Burial will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bryant. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Memorials can be made to the choice of the donor.
