Elizabeth Clark

Elizabeth Ann Clark, age 59, a resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2020, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

Ann was born on July 7, 1961, in Lakeland, Florida, the daughter of John Henry and Sue Annabelle (Powell) Sims. She was a member of The Rock Church in Portland.

Ann married Jimmy Lee Clark and he passed away on March 6, 2008.

Survivors include:

One daughter — Tricia Myers (husband: Ty), Portland, Indiana

One son — John Hicks, Redkey, Indiana

One brother — John Thomas Sims (wife: Wanda), Florida

One sister — Shelby Viola Sexton, Florida

Three grandchildren — Logan Hicks, Kalen Myers and Kevin Myers

One great-granddaughter — Aaliyah Hicks

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Sue Annabelle Sims; and two brothers, Horace Edgar Sims and George Henry Sims.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. A service to celebrate Ann’s life will follow at 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
