The opera house is making a comeback.
By request, a select group of Fort Recovery High School students will perform Sunday during an open house at Morvilius Opera House.
The open house will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday as part of the Fort Recovery Community Christmas Open Houses. The performance will be at 2:20 p.m. at the opera house, located on the second floor at 101 N. Wayne St., above Brockman’s Appliances.
A community group is in the early stages of an effort to rehabilitate the opera house that had its beginnings at the turn of the 20th century.
